1. Building Your Blogging Confidence, Step by Step
Do you wish you were more confident? A couple of weeks ago, DailyBlogTips reader Joseph Anzai left this comment: I'm always worried that it just wont be good enough. I end up gathering more and more information hoping that I will write the best post ever when in reality I have all the information but […]

2. How to Make Your Posts More Conversational
One great way to make your blog more engaging is to write your posts in a conversational way – as though you're chatting to the reader over coffee. When you do this well, your posts will put the reader at the centre, hold their attention, and encourage them to comment. The problem is, a lot […]

3. Are You Building a Business or Just a Blog?
Not every blog makes money. And not every blogger wants to. That's fine. But if you're blogging with the hope of making money, and you're currently getting little or nothing for your efforts, you might need to stop thinking of your "blog" and start thinking of your "business". Some bloggers will say that their blog […]

5. Are Your Blog Posts's Permalinks (URLs) Losing You Traffic?
One frequent mistake bloggers make is to leave their post permalinks (URLs) as the WordPress default. This is actually becoming less common, as WordPress now prompts you to change the permalink structure … but if your blog's been running for a while, you may be missing out on traffic due to poor permalinks. The two […]

For instance, a couple of years ago, I asked my newsletter readers a bunch of questions, including how often they'd […]

Thursdays).
-Access to exclusive members' forums where you can
get all your questions answered by me (Ali) and Daniel.
Three bonus ebooks to help you go further (you'll get access to
these as soon as you join).

George, Want to Improve Your English?

Hi George,
Daniel Scocco here, and this is the DailyBlogTips newsletter.

As you probably know, I run another site called DailyWritingTips, where
we publish daily tips about grammar, spelling, punctuation, style and
so on.

A couple of months ago we launched a new section, called DailyWritingTips
Pro. It's basically a premium service for those who are serious about
writing better. As a Pro subscriber you get:

1. Our articles delivered to you via email, seven days a week
2. Exclusive writing exercises delivered via email, seven days a week
3. Access to our exercise archives with 100+ interactive exercises
4. Writing courses (the first one available is the "Freelance Writing Course")
5. Access to an online writing jobs aggregator, updated daily

The cost of the subscription is $6.70 per month, which I think is pretty
affordable, especially because writing skills are essential to most
people's professional success.

We also have a 15-day free trial, so you can test everything out
before deciding it you want to stay a subscriber or not. Ready to
give it a try? Here's the official page:
