George, Check Out The Epic Bundle Promotion!

Hi George,

Daniel Scocco here, and this is the Daily Blog Tips newsletter.

Today I want to give you a heads up about a promotion I just saw on
InkyDeals. If you are not familiar, it is one of the leading deals
websites in the design community - it's the place to go if you
want to buy premium resources at unbeatable prices.

The cool thing about this site is that they offer what they call a
"200% money-back guarantee." That is, if you are not
happy with the product you can get your money back AND keep the
product.

The promotion I mentioned is called "The Epic Bundle". It
includes around $20,000 worth of design related resources. You can
check it out here:

http://www.inkydeals.com/deal/epic-bundle/?ap_id=dailyblogtips

If you are curious, here's what is included:

- 700 Vector Packs worth $9,295
- 1925 Vector Illustrations worth $7,700
- 149 Brushes Packs worth $1,716
- 100 Photoshop Text Styles worth $150
- 133 Photoshop & Illustrator Addons worth $1,396
- 100 T-shirt Designs worth $1,500
- 132 Super High-Res Texture Packs worth $1,669 (6000 x 4000 px)

- 4 Premium Video Tutorials worth $60
- 4 Premium UI Kits worth $60
- 20 Premium Tutorials worth $257
- 114 Web & Print Resources Packs worth $1,265

How much is all of that going to cost you? $89, or even less. They
have a $9 off limited promotion. Use coupon code DAILYBLOGTIPS9. A
pretty good deal huh? Here's the link where you can grab yours
(the deal will only last for some days, so check it out today):

Top Resource: “The Complete Guide to Building Your Blog Audience” from QuickSprout

Hi George,

Daniel Scocco here, and this is the Daily Blog Tips newsletter. Below you'll find the latest posts from the blog. Make sure to read them if you haven't already done so!
  1. Top Resource: "The Complete Guide to Building Your Blog Audience" from QuickSprout
Just in case you've not come across QuickSprout before, it's an excellent blog by Neil Patel (founder of Crazy Egg and KISSmetrics). Neil's posts are generally in-depth and very useful, but with his series of guides, he's really taken it to a new level. This one, The Complete Guide to Building Your Blog Audience, is […]

  2. Bad SEO Practices #3: Comment, Trackback and Pingback Spam
One common (though misguided) SEO practice of the past was creating backlinks through spammy comments and through "pingbacks". Today, this is worse than useless for SEO. The vast majority of blogs have "no-follow" on links from comments, plus Google can penalise you for this sort of link-building. Let's take a closer look, though, at why […]

  3. The Crucial Difference Between Building a Blog and Building a Business
Are you building a blog or building a business? Do you think of yourself — and perhaps describe yourself — as a "blogger"? Or are you a freelancer, entrepreneur, consultant, ebook author, or similar? When I got started in blogging, I was really excited by the idea of building a blog that made money. But […]

  4. What's the Difference Between Posts and Pages in WordPress?
If you're just starting out with blogging, you might be confused about the difference between "posts" and "pages". Generally, a "webpage" or simply a "page" is any piece of content on the web at a specific URL. So this post (www.dailyblogtips.com/posts-vs-pages) definitely counts as a webpage. Our home page, www.dailyblogtips.com, is also a webpage, with a […]

Final reminder: Get Blogging registration closes tomorrow ( secure your place now)

Hi George,

If you've been thinking about registering for Get Blogging, now's
your chance! Registration closes tomorrow (Friday 13th) and we're
unlikely to be re-running the course before 2015.

You can get the full details, and secure your place, here:

www.dailyblogtips.com/course

If you're not quite sure whether Get Blogging is right for you,
here are a few points to help you decide whether it will be a good
fit, and whether it's worth your money.

**Experience Level**

Total beginner?

You don't need to have a blog, domain name, or even an idea yet.
We'll help you with all of that.

A bit further along?

If you do have an existing blog, you can use the course to check
you've got everything set up the right way.

Experienced blogger?

If your blog has been up and running for a few months, this
probably isn't the course for you. Stay tuned for details of our
more advanced course, Get Readers, in a few months' time.

**Getting Your Money's Worth**

The cost:

Get Blogging is just $19.90 total, for everything: four weeks of
lessons, as much support as you need in the forum, plus bonus
materials. That works out to under $5 a week. You get access to all
the course materials for life -- not just for the four weeks that
the course is running.

Speed:

We recommend following the course over the four weeks alongside
other students, so you can get as much support and encouragement as
possible. If you're busy, though, it's fine to take the course at
your own pace -- so don't worry about missing out.

Peace of mind:

We have a full 30-day guarantee (which is actually longer than the
course itself!) So if you join and decide the course isn't right
for you, you can email me, ali@dailyblogtips.com,at any time, up
to 30 days after your payment goes through. I'll send you a full
refund.

I hope that answers any questions or worries you might have about
Get Blogging. If there's anything else you'd like to know, please
feel free to email me (ali@dailyblogtips.com).

Here's the link to the Get Blogging page again, where you can find
out what past students said, and see full details of what's included
in the course:

www.dailyblogtips.com/course

Don't forget, registration closes at the end of TOMORROW (Friday
13th), so if you think you might be interested in Get Blogging,
check out the details and secure your place today.

We're already part-way through the first week, so you can get
started as soon as you join.

Happy blogging,

Ali

How to choose between several different topics for your blog ( and Get Blogging reminder)

Hi George,

If you haven't yet set up your blog, that might be because
you're stuck on choosing a topic.

Maybe you don't have any ideas at all ... but more likely, your
problem is that you have too many ideas.

Perhaps you should blog about what you do for a living.

Or maybe you should blog for others at the same stage of life as
you, whether that's "teenager in high school", "parent of young
children", "newly-retired" ...

Or how about your hobbies? One of those could make a great blog.

You might even have done some research into the topics that
are most likely to make money.

So what should you pick?

Here's my advice.

Choose a topic you could happily write about for years to come.

What do you read about in your spare time?

What magazines and blogs do you subscribe to?

What do you love to talk about?

What conventions or clubs or meetings do you go to?

These are all great clues to where your real interests lie.

I struggled on with my first blog for about a year, but the
topic ("healthy living for office workers") didn't interest me for
long. My second blog, aimed at students, only lasted a few months.

It wasn't until I started blogging about the things that I was
reading and learning and talking about -- personal development
and, later, writing and blogging -- that I became successful.

So choose a topic you genuinely enjoy ... and you'll have the
enthusiasm and energy that you need to keep going until it becomes
profitable.

**Get Blogging: Reminder**

Would you like a bit of extra help getting your blog up and
running?

Our course Get Blogging covers everything you need to know, from
choosing your blog's name to getting it online and writing your
first posts.

It's a four-week course with step-by-step instructions and
videos to help you learn as quickly and easily as possible.

We've kept it very affordable, too: just $19 for everything.

That not only includes lifetime access to all the course materials
(including bonuses), it also gives you membership of a members-only
forum where you can ask questions and get help and support directly
from me and Daniel.

If you'd like to know a bit more, you can get all the details --
and read what past members have said -- here:

http://clicks.aweber.com/y/ct/?l=9Ks4U&m=J6tF_WzwtngoU_&b=OcGT5K6K902YGSiLppApnQ

The first week of the course officially starts TODAY, so while
membership is open until Friday, the sooner you join, the sooner
you can get going.

Happy blogging,

Ali

Hi George,

I'll get straight to the news: the DailyBlogTips course "Get

... and lots more.

The course content is a combination of written lessons and videos,
